As a coffee enthusiast in Malaysia who has probably “invested” way too much money into my coffee setup, I'm constantly frustrated by the fact that I could get amazing coffee in cafés, but somehow never quite recreate that exact same experience at home. I would occasionally get a surge of confidence after watching my 27th James Hoffmann video, only to accept the lingering taste of mediocrity after pulling my 5th shot in a row, wasting countless amounts of beans in the process.

Then an idea appeared — what if AI could help me make better coffee?

Thus began the journey of BeanBudget, a simple idea to make every shot count whilst genuinely improving the quality of coffee I make.
